Hair Extension Course

This is a combination of in centre and online training where you will learn the practical skills or 5 types of hair extensions and the business and marketing tools to help you build scale and grow your business.

If you can’t travel to our training centre there is a fully online option where we will commence live classes via zoom your kit will contain the tools to allow you demonstrate your work online easily and your tutor can comment and make recommendations plus demonstrate correct techniques. Our online classes are truly interactive and progressive so it will feel as if you are actually in the classroom with us.

To help you practice at home you will get access to video tutorials and assignments to help you achieve the goal of being ready to start working as soon as you qualify on week 4.

You will receive an accreditation certificate from AIT and the Sarah Naylor Academy so you can get insurance immediately and begin building your Beauty Business in a Box®.

This course is only for women who are serious about building their own successful business.

There are government support grants available that I will help you to complete.

If you prefer to just learn one type of extensions the cost will be €1000, each additional installation method is €750 or all 5 methods for the fantastic value of €2500

Hair Extensions: Techniques and Best Practices

Course Description:

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of hair extensions, including the various types, techniques, and best practices for application and maintenance. The course will cover the theory and practical aspects of hair extensions, including the types of hair used for extensions, the different methods of application, and the tools and equipment required.

Students will learn about the different types of hair extensions, including clip-in, tape-in, sew-in, fusion, and micro-ring extensions, and how to select the appropriate type based on the client’s hair type and desired look. The course will also cover the different textures, colors, and lengths available, and how to match the extension hair to the client’s natural hair.

The course will focus on the application process, including the preparation of the client’s hair, sectioning techniques, and the application of the extensions using various methods. Students will also learn about maintenance and removal techniques, including how to properly care for and style the extensions, and how to safely remove them without causing damage to the client’s natural hair.

Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to practice their skills on mannequin heads and live models, under the guidance of experienced instructors. By the end of the course, students will have a thorough understanding of hair extensions, including the techniques and best practices for application and maintenance, and will be equipped to offer this service to clients in a professional and safe manner.

Course Duration: 20 hours (may vary depending on the location)

Course Materials: Students will be provided with a course textbook, mannequin head, and extension hair for practice, as well as access to the necessary tools and equipment during class time. Additional materials may be required, depending on the location.

Assessment: Students will be assessed based on their practical skills, as well as their understanding of the theoretical aspects of hair extensions. Assessment methods may include written exams, practical demonstrations, and class participation.

On receipt of your payment your kit will be posted containing all your tools, doll head, tripod, manuals and access to a suite of videos. You will then be required to attend 1 live class a week for four weeks. On completion of the course you will receive your certificate that will qualify you to be insured as a hair extension specialist.
